Brittany Johnson is an author, screenwriter, and journalist. Her writing appears in the award-nominated YA anthology We Mostly Come Out at Night, as well as in publications like Verywell Health, Autostraddle, and Medium. Brittany loves writing fairy tales and stories that empower the individual, champion self-love, and humanize all the messy parts that come with being human. Deadly Ever After, her debut novel, is a love letter to soft Black girls who rarely get to see themselves in media.
