Love Y’all 2026 DEI Scholarship
Our goals are to support local independent bookstores; welcome and amplify debut, marginalized and indie authors while creating a safe, welcoming space to celebrate romance for all.
Founded by three indie booksellers, our festival aims to create an inclusive space for readers and authors to connect with readers, engage in meaningful conversations, and celebrate the romance book community.
Thanks to AVON’s kind sponsorship we’re able to support the travel costs for two individuals from marginalized communities to attend and participate in Love Y’all Book Fest 2026.

Provide a personal statement (up to 500 words) answering:
How has your background and experiences shaped your understanding of and approach to writing love stories?
Describe a goal(s) that you plan to pursue while attending Love Y’all Book Fest.

Two applicants for the Love Y’all 2026 DEI Scholarship will be chosen at random to receive a travel stipend of $500, complimentary hotel accommodation during the event (Friday-Sunday), inclusion in a Friday Experience, and influencer and program features.
